Jonnathon Harris, founder of Harris Mechanical, Inc., built the company from the ground up with determination, beginning from the front seat of his truck and growing it into a trusted name in the community for over 20 years. A Macon native and Tattnall Square Academy graduate, he began his HVAC and refrigeration training early, later serving in the U.S. Army starting in 1991 in the same field.

Together, Jonnathon and his wife, Wendie, have led the company’s growth into a thriving business known for quality workmanship and strong customer relationships. Wendie, a Crawford County High School graduate, earned her Associate’s degree from Gordon College in 2005 and her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Middle Georgia State University in 2010.

Their shared commitment, both professionally and personally, has been the foundation of Harris Mechanical’s success for more than two decades.

Nate Harris grew up in the HVAC industry, gaining hands-on experience from an early age alongside his father at Harris Mechanical. Since officially joining the team, he has built on that foundation with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

A Monroe County, Georgia native, Nate graduated from Mary Persons High School in 2018. He holds certifications from the EPA, Daikin, and A2L, and values the opportunity to work alongside his family each day.

Outside of work, Nate enjoys hunting, golfing, fishing, and spending time in Destin, Florida.

Hunter grew up in Forsyth, GA and graduated from Mary Persons High School in Forsyth. He started with Harris Mechanical soon after High School graduation and have been with Harris for 10 years. Hunter holds several certifications from EPA, Diakin, Mitsubishi and Trane. When asked, Hunter will tell you his favorite part of the job is completing a full installation and he has the talent of being about to level ductwork with eye (really important on any install!). When not at work, you can find him Hunting or Fishing, or with his other half, Summer.

Evan has been with Harris Mechanical for 6 years and is known to the crew as the one who “gets the job done”! Evan graduated from Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, Georgia. When not working, you can find Evan hunting, cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and during warmer weather, floating the river.

Anna is from Macon and graduated from Tattnall Square Academy in 2019. She loves being part of the family business and her 4 legged BFF Reem gets to accompany her to the office daily! You can find Anna juggling many things during the day with a smile! She started with Harris Mechanical in 2024 and has lived and breathed HVAC since well before then - soaking up all of the knowledge surrounding her. You kind of have to when you are going to marry into the family!

Charles joined Harris Mechanical in October 2023 and says that working with friends who are like family is the best part of this job! He lives locally here in Macon; he loves cheering on the Dawgs and kayaking whenever possible!
